it Powered by Adobe’s latest Postscript engine, RCC II is truly a performance RIP. It now processes files up to 25 percent faster and reproduces colors with greater accuracy and finer gradients than the previous version (RCC v4.5). RCC II supports all Roland inkjet printers and printer/cutters and is compatible with several popular operating systems, including Windows NT, XP Pro & 2000. You can send files directly to RCC II from your design applications or simply import BMP, DCS, EPS, JPEG, PDF, PS or TIFF files. Print it Printing is as simple as selecting your Roland printer from the print menu. There is a comprehensive list of Roland printers (including the new Pro II inkjets). With RCC II, you can easily print complex files and gradients. Support for PDF 1.4 is now available and includes multiple page layout and printing. RCC II Plus can control up to three different printers at the same time, and it provides robust layout controls such as cropping, nesting and tiling. Cut it RCC II makes it incredibly easy to contour cut graphics for signs, decals, labels, pop displays and packaging prototypes. It handles printing and cutting operations simultaneously from within Adobe Illustrator® 8/9/10, CorelDraw® 9/10/11 and Quark Xpress™ 4/5. RCC II also lets you take advantage of Roland’s revolutionary Quadralign feature for your print/laminate/cut workflows. Easy User Interface RCC II is built from the ground up to be easy to use. During installation, a help wizard lets you select the right printer and connection in just seconds. With RCC II Plus, you can even setup additional printers in the same easy fashion. One simple interface shows at a glance what files are being RIPped, printed or finished. All major job functions work with the touch of a button. Open, RIP, print, save and delete jobs with a single mouse click. Advanced color management Both versions of RCC II come with built-in ICC profiles that have been pre-calibrated for Roland ink and media. Savvy graphics professionals will enjoy ColorCAL – the RCC II Plus profiling package that allows you to create custom profiles. Users will have extensive control of ink limiting, calibration and characterization for all Roland inkjet configurations, including CMYK, CMYKLcLm, CMYKOG and CMYKLcLmOG. |
