a maximum print speed of 968 sqft./hr. for the 104" AJ-1000i and 872
sqft./Hr. for the 74" AJ-740i, the AdvancedJET AJ-i series has redefined
the standards for high-volume production printing. The AJ-i series
is ideal for high-volume applications including vehicle graphics,
banners, billboards, outdoor signage and other durable graphics, producing
brilliant six-color CMYK+LcLm graphics on both coated and uncoated
media.
AJ-i graphics reflect superior ink bonding, and scratch and alcohol
resistance for outstanding outdoor durability. An automated maintenance
system ensures reliable performance and eliminates the need for daily
manual cleanings. The AJ-i series also features an optional Mesh Printing
Unit supporting lightweight, unlined mesh media.

Note: The AJ-1000i will begin shipping in late Summer 2009.
AJ-740i will be shipping in late Winter 2009. However, all current
inventory of AJ models shipping as of April 2009 will be upgraded
to the specifications of the AJ-i models, including Roland Intelligent
Pass Control, and the new print head protection plates. They will
be identical to i models except for the exterior color.
