Media Tested and profiled to perform with the SOLJET EX Series, Roland Eco-SOL Media includes a range of competitively priced, uncoated adhesive backed vinyls along with other popular substrates. The list includes glossy calendared vinyl with permanent adhesive, matte calendared vinyl with permanent adhesive, clear calendared vinyl with permanent adhesive, view through vinyl with removable adhesive, calendared wrap vinyl with removable adhesive, translucent calendared vinyl with removable adhesive, flame retardant scrim banner, and blockout scrim banner. The EX Series also performs well with all Roland SOLJET Certified Media (SCM); and it is compatible with some PCM, PQM and PGM offerings.
Eco-SOL INK Advanced Eco-SOL INK works in conjunction with an integrated media heating system to bond aggressively with a wide range of economical media, including both coated and uncoated substrates. The advanced mild solvent ink prints with brilliant color at high resolutions without special ventilation or environmental equipment. It is safe to use and virtually odor free. Ink Configurations The four-color SJ-1000EX comes loaded with dual sets of CCMMYK to achieve rich, vibrant colors even at high print speeds. Blazing Print Speed The SJ-1000EX prints up to 484 sqft/hr at 360dpi and can output over 32 sqft in four minutes. These sign-quality print modes are ideal for printing signs and exhibits. Outstanding Print Quality The EX Series precisely controls droplet placement in both the print head travel and paper feed directions to provide photo realistic quality. With variable droplet technology, the EX Series releases micro-precise ink droplets of three different sizes depending. This state-of-the-art technology delivers truly breathtakingly smooth output, even at high speed. Media Heating System All EX Series inkjets include an integrated media heating system that accelerates ink fastness, brightness and drying times. The SJ-1000EX features three heaters to accelerate ink fastness and drying time. Reliability The SOLJET EX Series offers years of reliable service, even in the most demanding shop environments. Each one is built with solid construction and enhancements for precise media control. It also features print head maintenance systems for unmatched mechanical reliability. Media Handling System The SJ-1000EX uses a heavy-duty media handling system with idler bars to maintain proper tension and precise media tracking, even during long continuous print jobs. It's designed to enable lengthy, unattended printing. The system supports rolls weighing up to 220lbs and offers front access for convenient loading and unloading. Network Connection Equipped with a standard 100 BASE-TX/10 BASE-T interface, the EX Series connects seamlessly to office networks with a data transmission rate of 1.1 Mb/sec. This makes it easy to configure a highly efficient printing environment. A parallel cable can be used for stand-alone printing. | |||
