Advantage  The VersaCAMM streamlines the production process by automatically contour cutting printed graphics. By eliminating the need to reload and reposition graphics, the VersaCAMM's integrated cutters save time and effort. Quadralign™ 
For laminating graphics, simply remove prints, laminate and reload them for precision cutting. The Quadralign four-point optical registration system automatically realigns the cutting path and compensates for skew and distortion. The SP-540v can also function as a stand-alone vinyl cutter. Advanced Eco-SOL INK  Roland Eco-SOL INK is formulated especially for Pro II V Series and VersaCAMM inkjets. The advanced mild solvent ink prints on both coated and uncoated materials without any need for special ventilation or environmental equipment. Water, scratch and UV resistant graphics up to 3-years outdoors*, it comes in 220ml no-mess cartridges of CMYK + LcLm. It is both safe to use and virtually odor free. *Outdoor durability is based on accelerated weather tests. Results may vary depending upon location and application. Dry times vary depending on specific media characteristics. Lamination may be required for some applications or environmental conditions. Bundled Software  VersaCAMM SP-540V comes complete with VersaWorks, an advanced color management RIP package, composed by Roland expressly to optimize your VersaCAMM SP-540V. VersaWorks runs on Windows XP and 2000 operating systems and features an easy-to-use interface that allows you to manage the entire production process directly from one global screen. Clear icons and drag-and-drop simplicity guide you from initial design to finished print. Even a novice will be printing and contour cutting in no time.  VersaWorks supports the latest Adobe PostScript (CPSI 3016) engine, ensuring maximum compatibility with the latest popular design applications. Take advantage of advanced layout features such as scaling, tiling and nesting. In addition, VersaWorks includes optimized halftoning for the SP-540V print head, ink and media combination. It also features Color Management Configurations for tone curve adjustment. Other features include separate matching methods for raster and vector images, embedded ICC profile support, ink level adjustment tools and software proofing capabilities. In addition to Postscript, VersaWorks prints from TIFF, JPEG, EPS and PDF 1.5 files. Built in Heating  An integrated heating system, which can be set from 95° to 122 °F, helps Eco-SOL INK bond to both uncoated and coated media and dry faster. For ease of use, the heating system is controlled from the printer as well as the computer. For energy efficiency, a single source of power runs both the heating system and print/cut mechanism. Advanced Media Handling System VersaCAMM SP-540V delivers superior media handling, allowing you to experience optimum performance on a vast array of media options. Removable pinch rollers allow you to accommodate any range of media – from banner material to vinyl. Up to five rollers can be used at once, allowing you to match the configuration to your media type. Adjustable print heads enable you to accommodate variable media thickness' as well. Eco-SOL Media  Eco-SOL Media is developed especially for Roland Eco-SOL INK, which is used by VersaCAMM and SOLJET Pro II V Series inkjet printers. It includes a wide selection of competitively priced, uncoated adhesive-backed vinyls and other popular substrates. The line-up currently consists of glossy, matte, clear and translucent calendered, premium cast vinyl, premium reflective vinyl, view-through vinyl, flame retardant scrim banner, blockout scrim banner and solvent glossy paper. Roland also offers an additional 20 materials that optimize Pro II V and VersaCAMM print quality. They include heat transfer material, backlit film, matte artist canvas and a high-quality matte paper in its SCM, PQM, PGM and PCM media line-ups. All Roland media are profiled to perform flawlessly with Roland printers and inks. Accelerated Print Speed VersaCAMM SP-540V produces banners, signs, POP displays and a full range graphics up to 54 inches wide at a maximum print speed of 114-square-feet per hour thanks to a new 360 x 720 DPI billboard printing mode. Its unique design as a combination printer/cutter further saves time, allowing you to both print and contour cut your designs together – even unattended -- in one easy step.
