Choose From Two HeatWave
Models
The perfect foundation for your sublimation operation, Roland’s
HeatWave systems come in two powerful models: the VersaCAMM SP-300VS
30-inch printer/contour cutter, and the VersaCAMM SP-540VS 54-inch
printer/contour cutter. Loaded with HeatWave sublimation inks, both
systems produce bold, crisp sublimation graphics for textiles, promotional
items, jerseys, photo gifts, awards, signage, tile murals and more.
HeatWave Sublimation Ink For Consistent, Clog-Free
Printing

HeatWave systems feature custom-formulated
sublimation inks that achieve outstanding clog-free performance
and an exceptionally vibrant color gamut. These advanced inks allow
you to create bold, crisp sublimation graphics for textiles, promotional
items, jerseys, photo gifts, awards, signage, tile murals and more.
HeatWave Sublimation Paper

HeatWave sublimation transfer paper delivers quality results time
and after time. This heavyweight material is coated on both sides
for extra stability and anti-cockle properties. It's also extremely
easy to handle during the transfer process. Plus, its superior ink
load capabilities yield maximum ink transfer for bright and colorful
graphics.
Heat Transfer Media

Designed specifically for transfers to light and dark cotton or
cotton blend garments, HTM handles well and delivers great color
saturation. An opaque white media, HTM can be both printed and cut
for truly custom results.
Print Quality

Based on Roland’s high-resolution variable droplet inkjet technology,
HeatWave VersaCAMM and SOLJET systems precisely control droplet
placement in both print head travel and paper feed directions. This
advanced technology allows HeatWave to produce reliable, precision
transfers with brilliant color for a full range of sublimation applications.
Bundled Software

Roland’s HeatWave systems come complete with powerful color management
RIP software. Both the VersaCAMM SP-300VS and the SP-540VS include
feature-packed VersaWorks™. Both packages have been customized for
HeatWave sublimation, including universal sublimation profiles for
several types of materials. These profiles take the guesswork out
of sublimation, making it easy to control color saturation for consistent
transfers every time. HeatWave software packages also feature simultaneous
RIP & Print capability, enhanced color management, contour cutting,
and direct printing from TIFF, JPEG, EPS, PS, PDF and DCS 2.0 files.
VersaCAMM Systems Include An Integrated Vinyl
Cutter

In addition to producing brilliant sublimation graphics, HeatWave’s
VersaCAMM models also perform as stand-alone vinyl cutters. With
speed that rivals the CX PRO Series, the VersaCAMM cuts crisp, eye-catching
vinyl graphics. You can also precision cut flock and our own HTM
(Heat Transfer Material) for apparel.

Two Easy-To-Follow
Workflows Make HeatWave Sublimation A Snap

For light-colored polyester fabric and sublimation-ready items such
as mugs, plaques, signage, tiles, etc.:
1. Print a digital image using the HeatWave system, HeatWave sublimation
ink, HeatWave sublimation transfer paper and Roland software sublimation
profiles.
2. Put the freshly printed image on top of the sublimation-ready
surface and place them together in a heat press.
3. Press the image and the substrate according to the recommended
time and temperature settings (typically 400 degrees for 20-60 seconds)
and remove it for a bright and durable finished product.
For cotton or cotton-blend garments (both light and dark colored):
1. Print/cut a digital image using the HeatWave system, HeatWave
sublimation ink, Heat Transfer Media and Roland software sublimation
profiles.
2. Put the freshly printed and cut image on top of the sublimation-ready
surface and place them together in a heat press.
3. Press the image and the substrate according to the recommended
time and temperature settings (typically 350 degrees for approximately
10 seconds) and remove it for a bright and durable finished product.
